Cheat is word regarding which people has negative thoughts. But what if I told you cheating in your diet plan will help you have a better health. This not just applicable to gymers but everyone who maintain their diet for a healthy life.
What is cheat diet?
If you ask any professional gymer. What is more important for a healthy body gyming or diet. The answer will definitely be diet. You only break your muscles in gym. Muscles are made at home by what you eat. People these day are in a hurry to make body. They want results as soon as possible. In doing so they lose their inner strength.
What to do on cheat day
Our body need every type of fats, carbs proteins. You can set a particular day in a week as cheat day. For example you keep Sunday as your Cheat day. In This day you can have anything irrespective of how much fats or carbs they may contain. But keep one thing is to keep in mind not to eat anything in too excess.
Benefits of cheat diet
Many dieting bodybuilders limit their carbohydrate intake to 200-350 grams a day, depending on their size, metabolism and level of activity. Keeping carbs low increases the energy deficit and helps control insulin, a hormone that stimulates hunger and plays a role in fat storage. It’s believed that lower insulin levels facilitate the burning of body fat. Fat-busting diets can cause a decline in levels of thyroid hormones and leptin (which directly affect fat-burning) and IGF (insulinlike growth factor, which supports muscle growth). Splurging a bit can bring them back to normal.
